Notes Full view of a couple the man with short cut hair is sitting on a chair with a woman standing on the left of him with her hand resting on his shoulder they both wear dark clothing. Written on back: "Mike Grabner my grandfather & Veronica Grabner my grandmother Marriage May 23, 1886. Veronica came to U. S. in 1879. By Ed Grabner age 72. 1991."

Michael "Mike" Grabner was born in Oshkosh July 24, 1868, the son of Michael Grabner and Anna Kirchbaum Grabner. His younger brother was Christian "Little Chris" Grabner. His father died in 1874 and his mother married a man named Dengler. Mike married Veronica Miller on May 23, 1886. The couple had several daughters: Anna; Betty; and Ella, but only the birth of Barbara was recorded on November 12, 1888. A son Christian Grabner was born May 17, 1896. Mike worked as a finisher at the Buckstaff, Edwards Company.
