Albumen print on plain colored stock with scalloped edges and has gold ink text. Bust view of an older woman with her hair pulled back she wears earings and a pin at the neckline. Written on back: "By Edmund Grabner Feb - 1992. Great Grandmother Anna Dengler (Grabner) married Simon Dengler in 1875 after the death of Great Grandfather Micheal in 1874 (June 22). Anna Dengler married Simon Dengler in 1875 after death of my great grandfather Micheal in 1874. In 1884, they bought the Brooklyn Boarding House on 6th street. It operated from 1884 to 1915, they bought it from Carl Binder for $1100.00." |
