Description Tintype of an unidentified elderly man, possibly Zalman Bedient or William Lockwood, 6th plate colodian emulsion on black japanned tin; stamped brass ornate mat and oval opening, stamped brass preserver, glass, wood case black embossed paper cover with ornamental scroll design; brass hook closure and eye.

Notes Copy tintype of an earlier image of a three-quarter seated view an elderly man, possibly Zalman Bedient, father of William Bedient, or William Lockwood, father of Esther Lockwood Bediant. He wears a dark vest;dark trousers and coat; white shirt; and large dark cravat. He has a receding hairline and wears long sideburns. He is holding a walking stick in his right hand.
