Notes Outdoor image of the William Bedient farm and house on Oregon Street Road, south of Oshkosh in Algoma Township. The house is a three-quarter Georgian floor plan Greek Revival with wing. It features a full pedimented gable; post and lintel doorway; full length portico with balustrade on the wing; and interrupted pediments on the wing. A man, possibly William Bedient is standing at the water pump in front of the house; a woman, possibly Esther Lockwood Bedient is seated on the portico; and a girl, possibly Hattie Bedient (Pierce) is standing on the portico. The farm is surrounded by white painted board fencing and there are two barns visible in the background. An attempt to locate the house on June 4, 2003 revealed that it is no longer standing.
