Description 
6th plate daguerreotype, possibly of William and Esther Bedient, with stipled brass mat and scroll opening, ribbed brass preserver, glass, and thermo-plastic "Union" case with hunter and deer on front; cluster of grapes on back; two brass hinges and internal latch, and embossed green velvet lining on lid. MARKS: Littlefield, Parson and Co.,/Maufacturers of/Daguerreotype cases./L., P. & Co., ar the sole/Proprietors and only legal manu-/facturers of UNION CASES, with the/Embracing Rivetted hinge./Patented October 14, 1856,/and April 21, 1857 MADE NOTE:Case manufacturer
