Gelatin print on Cabinet Card Bust view of Rose C. Swart wearing a dark dress with mutton sleeves and spectacles. Ms Swart taught for many years at the Oshkosh Normal School. She was very active in the Women's Suffrage movement and was the 2nd Vice President of the Political Equality League of Wisconsin. She worked with other Suffrage leaders in oshkosh including Sarah James and Jessie Jack Hooper. |
