Description:
White and blue multi-layered dress made from different types and sizes of netting; 3/4-length sleeves. Dress trimmed with blue embroidered netting and blue velvet ribbons over the shoulders, at the waist and on the underskirt. The center back has hook and eye and snap closures.

Dress worn by Genevieve Budd Weed (1867-1946): husband was Col. Henry Weed of Oshkosh who was an attorney and also served as city attorney from 1890-1895, state senator from 1898 to 1902, and was a major in the office of the judge advocate of the United States army in New York around 1919.
