Meta E. Stryzewski Meyer (1896-1965) wore this dress when she sang at funerals. Prior to her marriage (1930) she worked as a cashier at the Henderson-Hoyt Company. This dress may have come from that store. After her marriage Meta worked in the office of the former Oshkosh Clinic of Doctors offices on Jefferson Street and finally in the office at Newman's on Main Street.
