Image 2 of 2

Irregular serrations along the ventral margin, the serrations apear to have been made by chipping the shell rather than cutting or grinding notches, the teeth show signs of wear possibly from use; the entire dorsal edge has been broken off, and the break does not appear to be recent. Shellac on one side; there are two small perforations in the shell which are assumed to have been made by museum staff for display purposes.
