Serrated along the ventral edge with two seperate sets of serrations one set is made up of three angled notches which cause the teeth to point towards the anterior end, the notches measure about 1.2cm wide and 0.4cm deep, the teeth of this set show wear; the other set is made up of three smaller notches with measure about 0.4cm wide and 0.2cm deep, this set of serrations is petruding out of the anterior end; there is a right angle cut into the shell near the umbo on the dorsal edge, the hinge area is cut and ground; all other edges broken. Shellac on one side; there are two small perforations which are assumed to have been made by museum staff for display purposes; wax on the shallaced side around the perforations.
