Image 1 of 2

The ventral edge has been serrated with five notches which measure about 1cm wide and 0.3-0.5cm deep; there are four small circular indentations on the serrations possibly for decoration; the anterior end has a hole in it which is roughly 0.2cm wide, possibly for a string to hang the shell; the outside is very worn and has striations; all other edges broken. There are two small perforations in the shell which are assumed to have been made by museum staff for display purposes.
