Description 
Grit (sand) tempered ceramic. Oval/round bowl with out flared rim; stem-end has round cross section. From the Arthur P. Kannenberg Collection. He recorded the following in his catalog: "Trumpet shaped pottery pipe, sand tempered, found in the same lot with the previous other material. (See OPM 1998.22.178, 1998.22.179, 1998.22.233, 1998.22.234, 1998.22.235.) It was accidentally broken while excavating. Reconstructed. (Received from) Walter Karrow." Original catalog card written by Kannenberg for L300-42 (5084APK): "Pottery trumpet pipe. Broke. Locality: Town of Oshkosh, Winnebago County. Received from Walter Karow. Shell tempered pottery. Found on the Karow farm with the rest of the material and the two skeletons. It was broken in pieces and pasted together, two fragments are missing."
