Rectangular shank with square cross section; raised square at stem-end. Original catalog card: "Diminutive Siouan Pipe, with a fancy bowl. Locality: Adams County, Wis. Received from Carl Wittman Collection, Merrill, Wis. Date: Feb 22, 1941. Minnesota Catlinite. The maker of this pipe put in some effort to produce himself a fancy affair. The ribbing or fluting on the bowl meant some pain-staking work considering the crude tool used in bring this about. Also class as an Elbow Pipe.
