Shank has round cross section, tapers toward bowl; tapered prow in front of bowl has an oval cross section. Recent chips and scratch on stem-end. Original catalog card: "Diminutive Siouan Pipe. Locality: Lac du Flambeau Indian Reservation, Oneida County. Received from Carl Wittman Collection, Merrill, Wis. Date: Feb 22, 1941.
