| Description |
Green-gray stone. Poorly reconstructed with purple and gray material; approximately 50% original material present, section of bowl and section of stem pieced together. Mostly illegible handwriting in blue paint on one side of bowl includes: "Brook(?) and Hugans .."
Original catalog card: "Reconstructed High-bowl Pipe (Mended and restored). Locality: Heafford Jct., Lincoln County, Wis. Received from Carl Wittman Collection, Merrill, Wis. Date: Feb 22, 1941. Gray sandstone and wax. Reconstructed and mended. The original part of the pipe was found in a mound near Heafford Junction in Lincoln County, Wis." |
