Original catalog card: "Rounded-base Monitor Pipe. Locality: Rush Lake, Winnebago County, Wis. Received from Charles Koehn Collection. Purple steatite. A surface fine on a farm bordering Rush Lake. The bowl is broke half in two, the other piece was never found. Notice the zig-zag marks on one side of the stem". |
