Description Dolomite or limestone. Ovoid with triangular cross section; keel ridge more pronounced near base.

From the Benedict Collection acquired by Charles Koehn.

Excerpt from the Koehn catalog includes: "Another egg shape pebble pipe. Stone drilled both ways. The stem hole is much larger than in the preceding specimen (L268-10, Koehn 9B). It is much more narrow than the other one. Found on daggets Creek, Butte des Morts, Wisc. Benedict Collection."

Original catalog card: Keel-shaped Pipe. Locality: George Overton farm, Daggetts Creek, Butte des Morts. Received from E. Benedict - C. Koehn Collection. Pebble. This pipe was found many years ago on the old Daggetts Creek, 1 1/2 miles east from Butte des Morts. It was given to Mr. e. Benedict who is a son-in-law of Mrs. Daggett."
