Description 
Pipe-head, red pipestone inlaid with lead. Conical bowl with broad flat lip; rim has 13 encircling carved dots; groove above encircling inlaid scallops; bowl base is caped with lead; shank has linear inlays; low flat top crest with 6 carved conical holes, the last is filled with lead; shank end is capped with lead. Poor condition; bowl broken off base; crumbled pipestone; corroded/pitted lead. Original catalog card: "Inlaid Calumet. Locality: Aurora Township. Received from S. D. Mitchell Collection. Catlinite and lead. This pipe was found in a mound."
