Description 
Grit tempered ceramic. Incised spiral grooves descend from rim. Stem end broken, large crack from rim edge through bowl into stem. Accession record includes: "Iroquois clay pipe found in the Fox River below Omro, WI. Original catalog card includes: "Iroquois trumpet pipe." "Locality: Winneconne, Wis." Similar to Iroquois pipes, see James F. Pendergast "Some Notes on Ceramic Smoking Pipes from St. Lawrence Iroquioian Archaeological Sites" and William C. Noble "Neutral Iroquois Smoking Pipes", both from the "Proceedings of the 1989 Smoking Pipe Conference: Select Papers", Rochester Museum & Science Center.
