Description Tan steatite? Bulbous bowl with one encirling incised line around outside rim; part of bowl exterior is blackened; chips on lip interior. Triangular shaped base with incised geometric lines; one perforation. Red pigment in base incised lines and side of bowl.

From the Arthur P. Kannenberg Collection. He recorded the following in his catalog: "Mic-Mac stone pipe. This was found with a burial in the city of Oshkosh on the P. A. Richardson property in 1929. It still shows stains of fire and also red paint with which it came in contact. (Received from) Mr. William Morgan."
