Description Trumpet pipe? Red pipestone pipe-head. Incised design: 11 fairly equally spaced circular indentations encircling bowl rim; 1 enclircling line below rim; vertical parallel lines extending from below encircling line to base of bowl. Linear grooves along base of short stem. Knob at base of stem. Dark resinous stain bowl exterior and lip.

Original catalog card: "Mic-Mac pipe". "It was found on the Jennie McCauley property, in the 8th ward, on Lake Drive, City of Oshkosh, in the fall of 1934 by Mr. Carl Robertson while grubbing around a catalpa tree in the yard. He sold it to a member of the museum staff for $5".

Accession record: "... found near the mouth of the Fox River on 'Fisherman's Point'".
