Original catalog card: "Red sandstone Terraced base Mic-mac pipe. Locality: Found with a burial in a mound in Shawano County, Wis. Received from Carl Wittman, Merrill, Wis. Date: Feb 22, 1941. The oval shaped bowl rests on a short rounded base, oval shape base ... The mouth stem hole is extended outward like a ring ... The rim of the bowl has been somewhat restored." |
