Description Limestone. Irregular rectangular bowl with round/squared cross section; rough exterior, only bowl lip is ground smooth; 4 holes at top, bottom and both sides of stem hole; 2 curved grooves extend from both sides of stem hole; one straight incised line extends from top of stem hole.

Original catalog card: "Square-bowled Pipe. (No locality). Received from S. D. Mitchell Collection. Limestone. This pipe must have had a stem which was broken off. The aboriginal owner must have tried to mend it with soft inlaid lead. Notice the extra lead tracks and anchoring holes to hold both pieces together."
