Description 
Red pipestone. Dark resinous stains on bowl rim and interior. Original catalog card includes: "Indian catlinite pipe. Peculiar shape." "Barron County catlinite." "The stem runs parallel with the bowl ... It has a flange dropping down from underneath the stem and bowl ... and escalloped on the outside ridge. The outside of the bowl and stem have incised beveled ridges running the full length also the same on the base."
