Description 
Green steatite. Curved base. Several patterned abrasions on top of platform at smoke hole and base of bowl, appear to post-date pipe manufacture. Numerous abrasions on base of platform. Section of bowl. Original catalog card includes: "Locality: Town of Utica, Winnebago County." "This pipe was found somewhere in Wisconsin, exact location unkown. It is made from a blue-green steatite. It has a bad fracture on the bowl. There are a number of scratches on the flatform like ferns." Notations on the back of (a Milwaukee Public Museum?) photographic print include: "Both bowl and stem holes being conical ... Drilled with stone drills."
