Description Pipe-head only. Purple-red pipestone, speckled. Rectangular bowl with square cross section, no evidence of use; rectangular stem shank with square cross section; both bowl and shank are decorated with squares of incised cross hatching; the blade-like extension from base of shank has an incised design: leaf with stem, branch and a half circle with cross hatching on one face; other face has only the half circle; includes perforated wooden dowel inserted into stem-end.
