Large iron axe. From the Arthur P. Kannenberg Collection. He recorded the following in his catalog: "It is stamped on both sides with three rossettes in the shape of a three leaf clover. These axes were made as trade implements with the Indians by the early blacksmith. I secured this one on the Indian Reservation from John V. Satterlee."
