Object Name:
Chunky Stone
Comments:
Everyone was excited and keyed up for the game. Some players had worked for weeks, honing their skills and muscles and practicing over and over. It took great eye-hand coordination, and also an element of luck. The game started and the chunky stone was rolled across the smooth ice. Players threw their spear at the spot where they thought the stone would stop, but if they touched the stone they were out. The spear thrower closest to the spot was declared the winner.

Sports practically dominant life today because everyone loves to play and watch games. Early explorer accounts describe many games played by Native Americans, including chunky stone.
