Welcome to the Oshkosh Public Museum Virtual Exhibit

The Oshkosh Public Museum has compiled six exhibits containing historic photographs, documents, and artifacts from our collections. Their presentation here has been made possible through a contribution from the federal Teaching American History Grant Project administered jointly by Cooperative Educational Service Agency No. 6, located in Oshkosh, and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh's Department of History.

Each of these six exhibits relates to national events and their effects on the Lake Winnebago Region. These events are Women's History; Pioneers and Immigrants; the Civil War; the Spanish American War; World War I; and World War II.
